18 Yr Olds+

Get creative while caring for the planet in our Sustainable Sewing class! This hands-on workshop blends style, creativity, and eco-friendly living as you learn to make beautiful, reusable projects you’ll actually use and love. You’ll sew a stylish reusable coffee cozy, elegant fabric napkins with finished mitered corners, and a globally inspired Morsbag tote you’ll be proud to carry - and even prouder to gift. Designed for the confident beginners through intermediate sewers (see Sewing Level Guide below), this class is the perfect way to grow your sewing skills while making a real impact through sustainable, everyday creations. Come stitch, learn, and create something meaningful in a fun and supportive environment! Sewing machines are provided. Please bring one yard of high quality cotton quilting fabric (or you can buy it on-site from the instructor).

  • Sewing Level Guide:
    • Level 1: I have very little knowledge of sewing machines
    • Level 2: I know how to use a sewing machine and I can sew a straight line, thread a sewing machine and wind a bobbin
    • Level 3: I have confidence with a sewing machine and I can do small projects with very little assistance
    • Level 4: I am an intermediate sewer who knows how to sew various fabrics and read a pattern

Discover the joy of sewing in just 2½ hours! This fun, hands-on class is the perfect introduction for beginners, guiding you through the essentials of using a sewing machine, reading a pattern, and mastering straight-line stitching. Along the way, you’ll create two projects - a charming pincushion and your very own pillowcase with enclosed seams - that you can use at home or give as thoughtful handmade gifts. With sewing machines and all materials provided, this welcoming workshop is a great way to build confidence, learn a new skill, and fall in love with sewing!

sewing - baby or lap quilt

16 Yr Olds-Adults

Create a handmade quilt that will be treasured for years to come! In this fun and creative workshop, you'll sew a beautiful scrappy quilt that can be made as a cozy baby quilt for a new arrival or a lap quilt to provide extra warmth and comfort during the winter months. You'll learn quilting techniques while designing a project that reflects your own personal style through the fabrics you choose. Sewing machines, thread, and cutting supplies are provided - all you need to bring is three yards of your own 100% cotton or flannel coordinating fabric and a desire to create something meaningful, practical, and uniquely yours.
