Today, Tuesday, May 5, the Zeeland community will be asked to vote on the annual non-homestead millage. This proposal would renew the current millage on non-homestead properties, which include businesses, rental homes, vacation homes, and other properties that are not a family's primary residence. It does not affect the taxes on your home if you live in it as your main residence.

If approved, the continuation of the millage on non-homestead properties and businesses would generate about $12.5 million, or about 12% of the school district’s total general budget. It would renew the current non-homestead millage, so the district can levy the 18 mills on non-homestead properties to receive full state funding. Please get in touch with bnavetta@zps.org with questions, and thank you for voting.
