1st-2nd Gr (2026-27 Grade Level)

Join us to learn the fundamentals of sideline cheer like jumps, cheers and stunts while also getting the chance to cheer on the sidelines! Participants will practice once per week and then cheer at our Flag Football games on Saturday mornings. Register based on 2026-27 grade level.

ze future rockets - preseason cheer experience

1st-6th Gr (26-27 Grade Level)

Kick off the fall cheer season with Zeeland Recreation and the Varsity Cheer Program! The Future Rockets Preseason Cheer Experience serves as a fun introduction and preparation opportunity before the Sideline Cheer season gets underway. Participants will spend three days building and strengthening fundamental sideline cheer skills including motions, chants, game-day crowd involvement, teamwork, and spirit while learning alongside varsity cheer coaches and leaders. This preseason experience is designed to help cheerleaders gain confidence, connect with teammates, and get excited for the upcoming Rocket and Flag sideline cheer season. The experience will conclude with a special opportunity for participants to cheer at a Varsity Home Football Game under the lights before beginning their youth game schedule.
