5th-8th Gr (2026-27 Grade Level)

This camp is designed to equip players with the skills they need not only for middle school competition, but also as they progress into high school. Participants will learn to become true playmakers — reading the defense, making the right decisions, and executing with purpose on offense. The gym becomes a “lab,” where campers experiment and improve through drills, live play, and purposeful repetition. Our focus will be on reads, spacing, movement, and the subtleties of effective offensive play. By the end, players will have a deeper understanding of spacing and timing — and become confident, intelligent offensive threats.

zw girls basketball scoring camp

If you're looking to become a more effective scorer, this camp is perfect for you! You'll focus on developing your shooting skills, scoring around the rim, and much more. Participants will train alongside high school athletes and experienced coaches who will help teach individualized techniques to improve your shooting, scoring, and overall game. Every participant will also receive a Dux gift!

Fall & Winter

3rd-4th grade - 4v4 basketball leagues (boys & girls)

3rd-4th Gr

Join our 3rd and 4th Grade Basketball League to learn new skills, make friends, and have fun! Each week, you'll have at least one practice to improve your game and one game on Saturdays to show what you've learned. After registration closes, we'll have team formation practices to create balanced teams. Coaches will then reach out to your parents with your team details, practice times, and game schedules. Come be a part of the fun and create unforgettable memories on the court!

  • Team Formation Process: Zeeland Recreation is committed to creating balanced teams that provide a positive and developmental experience for all participants. Team formation is guided by several factors, including school attendance, player requests when possible, and information gathered during player evaluation sessions. Volunteer coaches, under the direction of the Zeeland Recreation Youth Sports Coordinator, work together to ensure all participants are placed on a team and receive equal playing time regardless of skill level. Once team assignments have been finalized and approved, coaches will contact families with team information, practice details, and game schedules.

5th-6th grade - 5v5 basketball leagues (boys & girls)

5th-6th Gr

Join our 5th & 6th Grade Basketball League to build skills, make friends, and have fun in a positive team environment! Players will participate in team formation practices after registration closes to help create balanced teams. Once teams are finalized, coaches will contact families with practice schedules, game information, and other season details. Teams practice 1–2 evenings per week (Monday–Friday), with practices focused on skill development, teamwork, and game preparation. Games are played on Saturdays between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM against other Lakeshore communities, with local travel to areas such as Holland, Saugatuck, and West Ottawa.

Join ZE Varsity Coaches to take your basketball skills to the next level! Participants will work on and improve defensive movements, ball-handling skills, passing, finishing at the rim and shooting techniques. Join us to have a blast in an atmosphere of energy, excitement, and enthusiasm! All campers will receive an article of ZE basketball apparel and free admission to a ZE home varsity basketball game.

Join ZW Varsity coaches to learn proper dribbling, shooting, passing, and basketball fundamentals! Players will experience the excitement of basketball and participating on a team while competing in competitions and games. Each athlete will receive a Dux “souvenir” to take home during the second to last week and free admission to one Dux Varsity basketball game.
