zW GIRLS BASKETBALL SCORING CLINIC

5th-8th Gr

If you want to become a better scorer, this is a great camp for you! It will have developmental shooting, scoring around the rim, and more! Participants will work alongside high school athletes and coaches to help teach them individual skill sets they can work on to become a better shooter, scorer and player. All participants will receive a camp shirt. Register based on 2024-25 grade level.

ZEELAND EAST BOYS BASKETBALL WINTER CLINIC

5 Yr Olds-6th Gr

Join ZE Varsity Coaches to take your basketball skills to the next level! Participants will work on and improve defensive movements, ball-handling skills, passing, finishing at the rim and shooting techniques. Join us to have a blast in an atmosphere of energy, excitement, and enthusiasm! All campers will receive an article of ZE basketball apparel and free admission to a ZE home varsity basketball game.

ZEELAND west BOYS BASKETBALL WINTER CLINIC

5 Yr Olds-6th Gr

Join ZW Varsity coaches to learn proper dribbling, shooting, passing, and basketball fundamentals! Players will experience the excitement of basketball and participating on a team while competing in competitions and games. Each athlete will receive a Dux “souvenir” to take home during the second to last week and free admission to one Dux Varsity basketball game.

3RD-4TH GRADE BASKETBALL LEAGUES

Boys Leagues & Girls Leagues

Join our basketball leagues to improve your skills, have fun and to make lifelong memories! Our 3rd-4th grade leagues include one practice per week and one game each Saturday. After registration, evenly skilled teams will be formed via team formation practices (explanation of our process is below). Coaches will contact parents after team formation practices to communicate team placements, practice schedules and game schedules. Please register based on the school your child attends: East, West, Zeeland Christian (Homeschool/Charter students can choose between ZE, ZW, ZC).

Team Formation Process: We form evenly skilled teams via a combination of skill ratings and team formation practices. Each child’s skill rating was given to them by their coach from the previous season (if they played last season) along with the rating the parent/guardian gave their child during the registration process. After the team formation practices, evenly skilled teams are formed by volunteer coaches with oversight from the Zeeland Recreation Youth Sports Coordinator (all kids are assigned to a team and receive equal playing time). After teams are finalized and approved, coaches will contact parents after team formation practices to communicate team placements, practice schedules and game schedules.
