5th-8th Gr

This session will prepare players with the skills they need to play in middle school and down the road in high school. Players will learn to be playmakers and make the proper reads on the offensive end of the court. Campers will use the gym as a “lab” to experiment and improve through competitive drills and skills. The focus will be on making reads, understanding spacing and actions, along with the finer details of becoming a playmaker. Register based on 2025-26 grade level.

If you want to become a better scorer, this is a great camp for you! It will have developmental shooting, scoring around the rim, and more! Participants will work alongside high school athletes and coaches to help teach them individual skill sets they can work on to become a better shooter, scorer and player. All participants will receive a Dux gift. Register based on 2025-26 grade level.

3rd-4th grade basketball leagues (4v4)

3rd-4th Gr

Join our 3rd and 4th Grade Basketball League to learn new skills, make friends, and have fun! Each week, you'll have one practice to improve your game and one game on Saturdays to show what you've learned. After signing up, we'll have team formation practices to create balanced teams. Coaches will then reach out to your parents with your team details, practice times, and game schedules. Come be a part of the fun and create unforgettable memories on the court!

  • Team Formation Process: Zeeland Recreation is committed to forming balanced teams by combining previous season skill ratings with team formation practices. Volunteer coaches, under the guidance of the Zeeland Rec Youth Sports Coordinator, ensure that all participants are placed on teams and receive equal playing time, regardless of skill level. Once team assignments are finalized and approved, coaches will reach out to parents with details about team information, practice sessions, and game schedules.

Join ZE Varsity Coaches to take your basketball skills to the next level! Participants will work on and improve defensive movements, ball-handling skills, passing, finishing at the rim and shooting techniques. Join us to have a blast in an atmosphere of energy, excitement, and enthusiasm! All campers will receive an article of ZE basketball apparel and free admission to a ZE home varsity basketball game.
