This beginner level ballroom class is perfect for a newly engaged couple, those needing a date night out, or anyone wanting to learn a new skill with a friend. We are excited to walk you through various ballroom styles during this 5-week class. Participants should enroll as a couple.

new year's resolution - back to dance

Did you dance as a child or in our high school program? Join us for an adult back-to-dance class this new year! Former Zeeland High School Dance Teacher, Mrs. Nancy Clyde, will take you back to your dancing days. Class style will alternate primarily between jazz and contemporary with some musical theatre and hip hop sprinkled in. Ballet technique will be explored as a support to the other classes. Each class will include a warm-up, conditioning, across the floor and/or a short new combination each week. Come to every class or drop in when you are able. Class is geared to the advanced beginner to intermediate dancer with some past experience (even if that experience was 20+ years ago). Modifications will be offered to make movement more or less challenging - so just come and have fun! Dance burns calories, builds flexibility, improves posture & coordination and promotes strength. It will help you with those New Year’s resolutions! More importantly, come to experience joy and community. Grab your old dance friends and sign up now. All levels are welcome.

Adult ballet - beginning

18 Yr Olds+

Gather your friends and step into an introductory ballet class that focuses on the fundamentals of ballet movement. We begin each session with gentle floor-barre, easing into alignment, strength, and posture work from the very start. Then, we transition to standing barre and progress to center-floor exercises, combining graceful arm movements, balance challenges, and dynamic traveling steps across the floor. You’ll build solid foundational technique while enjoying a full-body workout in a fun, welcoming environment. Perfect for developing dance skills, boosting fitness, and fun!

Dance the night away learning some Regency-era patterns that are sure to make you the talk of the ton. Pay a visit to the Modiste for a new frock worthy of a night on the ton, while Lady Whistledown has it that the Queen might choose her diamond on this special evening! No dance experience needed and dressing up is encouraged, but not required! Just grab your friends and come for fun!

Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned stepper, our instructor will guide you step‑by‑step with easy‑to-follow instruction, upbeat music, and a lively, welcoming crowd. No partner needed — just bring comfortable shoes and a readiness to step, stomp, shuffle, and have a great time on the dance floor.
