Scholarships

Listed below are scholarship opportunities that the Counseling Office is made aware of.  There are many more scholarships out there – they just require some extra work to seek them out.  Students are encouraged to visit www.fastweb.com and bigfuture.collegeboard.org to research two of the largest, most reputable, and free online scholarship search engines.  Please do not ever pay a fee to apply for a scholarship.  The legitimate ones are completely free.

ZPS Summer Performing Arts Summer Study Scholarship  
Open to any ZPS student GRADES 6-11 currently enrolled in a performing arts course (and enrolled again next year).  Funds may be used to study in your art form or to defray the cost of private lessons.

Pioneer State Mutual Ins. Co. and Meyering Agency Merit Scholarship One ZE or ZW senior will receive this scholarship. Applicants should be planning to pursue a bachelor's degree in a business, management, or insurance related field.

Cyrus Mulder Memorial Scholarship ONE ZEHS and ONE ZWHS senior will receive this scholarship, geared towards students pursuing a degree in engineering technology and/or the technical/industrial arts Application up to $1000 4/30/19
Holland Police Community Relations Criminal Justice Scholarship For area students who are enrolling in a post-secondary criminal justice program or track and have at least a 3.0 GPA.

West Michigan Veterans Coalition Armed Forces Dependent Scholarship Must be a dependent of an active duty or retired member of the armed services with at least a 2.5 GPA. Application $500 5/31/19
