Listed below are scholarship opportunities that the Counseling Office is made aware of.  There are many more scholarships out there – they just require some extra work to seek them out.  Students are encouraged to visit and to research two of the largest, most reputable, and free online scholarship search engines.  Please do not ever pay a fee to apply for a scholarship.  The legitimate ones are completely free.

Holland Optimist Club Optimist International Essay Contest Open to all middle and high school students. Applicants are asked to write a short essay on a given topic.

ElksNational Foundation Legacy Award High school seniors who are the children or grandchildren of dues-paying Elks are welcome to apply $4000 2/1/19
America's Farmers Grow Ag Leaders Scholarship For seniors looking to continue their education in an ag-related field of study $1500 2/6/19
Flavorful Futures Scholarship Qualifications: HS seniors with at least a 2.5 GPA who plan to study at a 2 or 4 year college, university, trade, or focational school $5000 2/15/19
Michigan Education Association (MEA) Scholarship Eligibility criteria: dependent of a MEA member or MEA retired member in good standing, high school senior, will attend a Michigan public communit college, four year college, or vocational training degree-granting institution amount TBD 2/21/19
AcenTek Scholarship 20 scholarships will be given to high school seniors with AcenTek as their local telephone or broadband service provider
