--Only two days left in Spirit Week! Tomorrow is  UGLY SWEATER/MISMATCH DAY, so get out your craziest combinations and your most hideous sweaters.  We'll wrap it up on Friday with CHIX SWAG DAY.  Show your Chix pride and wear you best Chix gear!

--The 8th grade volleyball team fought hard against Hudsonville last night, ending the night in a 1-2 loss. The Chix lost the first set 26-28, the second set 21-25, and then came back to win the third set 15-10. Arelly Vander Maas had 5 aces on the night.

--The tennis team played a tough match vs. Hamilton and came up short by a score of 2 to 6.  Many of the individual matches ended in tie breakers and could have gone either way.  Winning points for Cityside were:  Lindsey Wichers/Claire Barnes, Raeleigh Jones/Pippa Boerman, Carli Stepka/KK Wilson, and Sophi Stepka/Riley Guzicki.

--The 8th grade boys soccer team played a very good Holland team yesterday.  Although they lost 2-5, they played very well as a team and fought to the end!  Scoring for the Chix was Clay Fredricks first off a corner from Zac Hopke and then off a PK.  They next host Byron Center tomorrow.

--7th and 8th graders.  Please send Mrs. Kiwiet an email by this Friday (tomorrow) if you are planning to pick up any artwork from last year.  After Friday, she will assume that you are not coming for it and will send it on to a special place that all old artwork goes when its time is finished.

--Parents and Students: We can no longer allow food to be delivered from area restaurants to our students for lunch.  We aren't allowed to sign your credit card receipts, and often the order only comes with a student's first name on it making it very difficult for us to know who it is for.  Students often don't know a lunch is being delivered for them, so they don't come to pick it up and the food goes uneaten.   You may gladly still bring a lunch in for your child or have lunch with them and bring them outside food.  Thanks for understanding!

—SPORT SIGN-UPS:  All signups will be done online in the Final Forms website at www.zeeland-mi.finalforms.com. Parents and students need to register once a year for all your sports you will be playing or think you might want to play. Please check your mail/spam mail for confirmation once you have originally signed into Final Forms to confirm your account.  You can also link Final Forms through the cityside.zps.org website under athletics, or you may pick up a hard copy of the Final Forms instructions by the CBC room or in the office at Cityside. Like in the past, we need a current 2019-2020 physical dated from the doctor after April 15 of current year to be eligible for all sports or a completed plus a signed Health Questionaire Form. Thank you.
