--The 8th Grade B Volleyball team played at home Thursday night against Musekgon.  The team won all three sets last night, due in the most part to amazing serves made by many on the team!  Special shout out to Hayle, Priya, Hannah, Kate, and Daveyana for amazing aces! Haylee also made an amazing kill shot and Daveyana delivered a well placed tip over the net.  Way to go ladies!

--The 7th Grade A volleyball team won their match at Grandville 2-1. Winning the first set, falling back in the second, and coming back strong to win the third. Strong plays were from Lizzie Risdon with 7 Aces and 5 kills and Camille Louwerse was tough at the net with 2 blocks and 3 kills.

--The Cityside fundraiser continues this week!  Check with neighbors, family, friends to see if they will donate toward your efforts on Friday.  Forms & money can be dropped off in the office any time between now and Thursday, September 23.

--Although we do have water bottle filling stations throughout the school building, we are encouraging all students to please remember to bring a refillable water bottle from home.  Thank you.

--Because it is school policy, you may NOT wear a hat in school.

--Please be sure you are keeping your mask covering both your mouth and your nose while you are in school.  The only exception is when you are eating lunch or outside.  PLEASE make sure you have your mask with you when leaving your house in the morning!  Helpful tip:  Have a spare in your backpack or car to grab if you forgot to take one when you left the house.

--Your phones are ONLY allowed out before and after school and during passing time between classes.  Cell phones must be kept in your locked lockers during the day except during passing times when you are allowed to check them.  You may NOT keep them in your pockets and are not allowed in any classrooms.

--If you leave school early for any reason, you MUST go through the office and let them know you are leaving.  Thank you.

--Try to completely shut down your chromebooks once a day to install any updates that are out there.  Also, please remember to fully charge it at home each night.

--School Picture Retakes will be October 7.

--September Be.Nice Newsletter ~ This newsletter is intended to help increase awareness and decrease the stigma associated with our mental health.

--Any message needing to get to a student must be received by 1:20 pm. We call students down at the beginning of their last hour during announcements so we are not disturbing classroom instruction time.

--We can no longer allow food to be delivered from area restaurants to our students for lunch.  We aren't allowed to sign your credit card receipts, and often the order only comes with a student's first name on it making it very difficult for us to know who it is for.  Students often don't know a lunch is being delivered for them, so they don't come to pick it up and the food goes uneaten. Thanks for understanding!
