--Tripelroot is having “Last day of School Root Beer Floats” again this year. They are $2.50 & available while supplies last. Thank you & happy summer break!!

----6th and 7th graders interested in cross country or track next year, coach Wolters will be organizing the Zeeland Middle School Running Group again this summer to train for next year. If you are interested, information will be available in Mr. Gontjes' room or outside the CBC.

--BUS TAGS - If you do not use your bus tag everyday you may turn it into the office any time.  Otherwise turn it in to your bus driver on the last day of school.

--FOUND - black rimmed prescription glasses - claim in the office

--Lost and Found will be donated at the end of the school year please stop by the cafeteria and claim anything that is yours.

--If your child has any medication at school please make sure you come and pick it up. Any medication left after June 20 will be disposed of.   Thank you.

--The Bridge Meet Up and Eat Up Summer Information

--Parents - please make sure you are signed up for the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.  Busing information will be available in August under the "Bus Information" tab.

--ALL SUMMER CAMPS AND ATHELETIC INFORMATION FOR THIS SUMMER ACTIVITES CAN BE FOUND ON THE CITYSIDE WEBSITE UNDER ATHLETICS.  https://www.zps.org/schools/grades-6-12/cityside/athletic-information/

--Any message needing to get to a student must be received by 1:15pm. We call students down at the beginning of their 6th during announcement so we are not disturbing classroom instruction time.

–If your child will not be in school you MUST call the attendance line at 748-3205. Reminder – if your child will be out of school, you may email their teachers, but you also need to call the attendance line or office. Thanks!

—SPORT SIGN-UPS:  All signups will be done online in the Final Forms www.zeeland-mi.finalforms.com. Parents and students need to register once a year for all your sports you will be playing or think you might want to play. Please check your mail/spam mail for confirmation once you have originally signed into Final Forms to confirm your account.  You can also link Final Forms through the cityside.zps.org website under athletics, or you may pick up a hard copy of the Final Forms instructions by the CBC room or in the office at Cityside. Like in the past we need a current 2018-2019 physical dated from the doctor after April 15 of current year to be eligible for all sports. Thank you

--NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS--

--Congratulations to Layne Risdon and Landon Osborne on the inaugural Cornhole Championship!

--The 7th Grade Boys and 7th Grade Girls soccer teams will play each other in a friendly match today at the Fairview Field starting at 3:30. At 4:30, the 8th grade boys and girls will have their friendly match to end the year as well. Feel free to come on out to the field and cheer on your Cityside soccer teams.

--A special congratulations to the following 8th grade Art students who were honored on Friday at a ceremony in VanBragt Park. Chioma Asomugha, Tessa VanderWal, Naomi Driver, Kaylynn Gentry, and Delaney Ketchum were all recognized for outstanding work on their pieces created for the Big Read Lakeshore.  Their work will be on display in the park for a year. Congratulations and thank you for representing Cityside so well to the community!

--Dear parents/guardians,  The meeting for incoming 9th graders at both Zeeland East/West High Schools will not be held this evening.  Information concerning how to get involved in our programs and how to contact our coaching staff will be sent out shortly.  A kickoff for fall athletics is being planned with a date and time to be announced.  

We are incredibly excited to have your child involved in our athletic programs!

--Auditions for the 2019-2020 Zeeland High School Colorguard will take place on Monday June 3 from 7-8:30pm in the East High School Band Room.  Any marching band student is welcome to audition for colorguard.  Make sure you show up a few minutes early to fill out an audition form.  Please email Mrs. Landes at jlandes@zps.org if you have any questions.

--Students, tomorrow is the last day to return library books to the media center before bills are sent home.  If you have an overdue book, please return it as soon as possible!

--Attention all you 8th grade Greasers and Socs: Tomorrow is the big day to dress up like characters from The Outsiders.  Bring your tuffest 1960s looks and your fun attitudes!  Stay Gold!  (Reminder: no candy cigarettes and no switchblade combs...Thank you!)

--All band members, please remember to take your instrument home after school today. All student owned instruments need to go home for the summer today unless you have been told by Mr. Good to make up a quiz.
