Junior Year-End Meeting

Summer school information is now available for students who have failed (or may fail this semester) classes that are required for graduation.  For specific details and to register a student, visit this link.  The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, June 11 at 2:00 p.m.  If you have any questions, please contact your counselor. 

ATTENTION STUDENTS NEW TO CTC NEXT SCHOOL YEAR (2025-26): 

All current 10th and 11th grade students who have been accepted into a Careerline Tech Center program for next fall (except Cosmetology) and are NEW to CTC next school year will be attending CTC's "Acceptance Day" on Tuesday, May 20. Students will have the opportunity to visit the AM or PM program that they will be participating in next year. Busing will be provided, and required, by ZPS.  Specific details for the day will be communicated to students via email in the near future.  Permission forms are not required. We will plan on all new students attending unless you inform your counselor that you are unable to take part in this event.  

Again, this is only for students who will be NEW to CTC next year and already have a placement (not on the waitlist). Cosmetology students will have their own orientation at Tulip City Beauty College this summer.  Thank you!

West Michigan Works! provides resources to help job seekers prepare for their next job or career.  These services include: career coaching, job search, interview techniques, career training, job fairs, etc. A representative from the organization will be on campus on Wednesday, May 7 during Advisory to meet with current seniors who are planning to enter the workforce but would like some more information and assistance with the next steps. Please register through this link by NOON on Tuesday, May 6. 

The counseling office will be hosting Co-op info meetings during Advisory on Wednesday, April 30 for current juniors interested in learning more about the program for next school year. Co-op is on-the-job training at a work site during the school year that can earn seniors high school elective credit. Please complete this form if you are interested in details about the Co-op application process and will have secured a job by June 1 that will continue through the 25-26 school year. The deadline to register for the meeting is Tuesday, April 29 by 3:00 p.m. 

Hospice of Michigan is offering "Camp Good Grief" this summer for youth ages 8-17 who have experienced the death of a loved one. There is no cost to participate but space is limited. Please visit this link for more information.  The deadline to register is May 23.
