Spring/Summer Programs

Summer Science Camp

3rd-8th Graders | 2019 Dates TBD

During this one-week camp led by ZPS science teacher, Brad Stevens, campers will have the opportunity to experience an authentic, hands on experience. Students will be posed a driving question about a scientific phenomenon to conduct investigation and develop models to develop their own understanding. This process takes students through an authentic inquiry experience, and gives them the opportunity to act as actual scientists to construct their own understanding of the world around them. The opportunity gives students an experience that will help prepare them for middle and high school science courses. Participants will receive a camp t-shirt. Space is limited. Registration opens in February, 2019.

  • 3rd-4th Graders: 8am – 9:30am
  • 5th-8th Graders: 10am – 11:30am
