FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 

ARMS & ABS

This is an above the belt workout focused on abs, back and arms!

BODY SCULPT

Build lean muscles, strength and flexibility as you tone and lengthen your muscles through a variety of Pilates, cardio and resistance moves.

CARDIO CUT

A fusion of cardio, strength and martial arts! This class combines fitness movements with non-contact martial art moves for a fun, full body workout sure to build muscle and get your heart pumping!

CARDIO STRENGTH FUSION

A total body workout mixing cardio and strength training to burn calories, sculpt lean muscles, build core strength and increase flexibility.

CIRCUIT TRAINING

Cardio and strength training to boost metabolism and mood and help tackle those trouble spots.

CLASSICAL YOGA - LEVEL 1

A beginner class focusing on alignment to help develop strength, stamina, balance and flexibility.

CLASSICAL YOGA - LEVEL 2

For experienced students. A wider variety of poses studied more deeply and poses that are more complicated introduced.

GENTLE YOGA

Poses taught with modifications to accommodate students’ needs. Perfect for new yogis or those who prefer a slower-paced class.

You’ll be ready to ride after this 30-minute technique class that covers bike setup, technique and spin lingo.

INTRO TO YOGA AND PILATES

A 30-minute class designed for those wishing to explore and learn more about yoga technique and form. After this class, you’ll be comfortable attending any of our yoga and Pilates classes!

A class designed to build bone strength and enhance muscular strength and muscular endurance, which is the ability to repeat a movement.

Burns serious calories and offers an awesome aerobic workout.

Zeeland Rec is a SilverSneakers and Silver&Fit participating fitness center!
