FITNESS CLASS PRICES (starting Aug 1)

 

FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 

BARRE CARDIO FIT

Get ready to “shake & burn” during this total body sculpting experience using body weight, light weights, balls, bands, & gliders. Barre combines the best of yoga, ballet, Pilates and strength-alternating between movement and stretch to build long, lean, toned muscles! Benefits may also include improved posture, increased flexibility, and a strengthened core. Be prepared to be both challenged and inspired! No experience necessary.

CARDIO, STRENGTH & STRETCH

A combination class with elements of cardio and strength training for a total body conditioning experience. And let’s not forget the core work and stretching that will be included using your own body weight for resistance. This is a class designed for all levels as high and low impact options are provided.

CIRCUIT TRAINING

Circuit training offers a variety of movement patterns, high intensity intervals and Tabata-style training to give you a full body workout with none of the boredom. This fast-paced class incorporates both cardio and strength training to boost your metabolism and mood and help you tackle those trouble spots.

CLASSICAL YOGA - LEVEL 1

This beginner classical yoga class focuses on alignment in basic yoga poses.  Poses introduced with progressive instructions to help you develop your strength, stamina, balance, posture and flexibility. It's perfect for those new to yoga or new to the Iyengar Method. No experience necessary. If you are unsure between level 1 and 2, attend level 1 and talk with Deb about the class that is best for you.

CLASSICAL YOGA - LEVEL 2

Classical yoga, taught in the Iyengar Method, for the more experienced yoga students. Emphasis will be on increasing endurance and refining individual corrections. Wider varieties of poses studied more deeply and poses that are more complicated introduced. Inversions and backbends practiced regularly. Students are encouraged to attend level 1 class before joining level 2, so Deb can recommend the class that is best for you.

GENTLE YOGA

Gentle yoga focuses on alignment through basic and restorative yoga poses. Poses are introduced with progressive instructions to help you develop your strength, stamina, balance, posture and flexibility. Poses taught with modifications and props to accommodate students’ needs. Perfect for those new to yoga or who prefer a slower-paced, supported class. No experience necessary. Included in our $15 Senior Fitness Memberships monthly fee.

POWER PILATES & YOGA

A powerful mat/barre Pilates and basic yoga class for all fitness levels. This is a non-impact class that has been designed to strengthen the core and improve posture and balance. This class also builds strength and flexibility to streamline your physique. All fitness levels are encouraged to attend.

SENIOR STRONG & BALANCED

This fitness class is designed to build bone strength and enhance muscular strength and muscular endurance. SPIN

As you ride, motivating music plays as you are talked through a visualization of an outdoor cycling workout. It burns serious calories and offers an awesome aerobic workout. All fitness levels welcome.

STRONG

A high intensity interval training (HIIT) class workout unlike any other you’ve experienced! Each interval segment has been reversed engineered so that the beats in the song match every move, driving the intensity in a challenging progression that provides a total body workout. This class will help you reach your fitness goals faster. Using your own body weight, you will gain muscular endurance, tone and definition, and you will experience an increased after burn. Want to take your fitness level to the next level? This class is for you!

STRONG 30

Strong 30 packs a challenging total-body workout into 30-minutes! This efficient and focused class helps you fit fitness into any schedule.

TRIPLE THREAT

Get ready to sweat it out while taking on a new challenge each week as you combine cardio, core & strength all in one during this intermediate to advanced high intensity conditioning class.

YOGA-PILATES FUSION

This combo class allows you to gain the benefits of a yoga class with core-strengthening moves that slims the body. The philosophies of both make fusing the two very natural.

ZUMBA

A high energy and fun fitness workout using Latin inspired music and dance movement designed to tone and sculpt your entire body. Come join the party!

ZUMBA GOLD

Designed for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower intensity. The class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba® choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination and all elements of fitness- cardio, muscular conditioning, flexibility, and balance! Included in our $15 Senior Fitness Memberships monthly fee.
