AQUATICS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 

AQUATIC CODY CONDITIONING (ABC)

A full body workout designed to improve energy, flexibility, balance, agility and core strength.

  • Instructor: Paula Shivers
  • Day: Saturdays
  • Time: 12:15-1:15pm

DEEP H20

Uses the water’s resistance to deliver an excellent full body workout appropriate for all fitness levels.

  • Instructor: Heidi Berens
  • Day: Mon, Wed, Fri
  • Time: 9-10am

ENERGY H20

This multi-level class provides a work-at-your-own pace environment to increase cardio, strength and flexibility

  • Days: Mon, Wed, Thur
  • Time: 7:30-8:30pm

FIRM H2O

Each class will include 30-minutes of shallow water high intensity interval training, followed by 30-minutes of strength and endurance training throughout the pool for an effective total body workout.

  • Days: Tuesday and Thursday
  • Time: 9-10am

HYDRO CARDIO 

A high-energy class that combines shallow and deep-water components to improve strength, definition and endurance.

  • Day: Tuesdays
  • Time: 7:30-8:30pm

LAP SWIM & WATER FITNESS

Lap Swimming and Water Fitness (deep and shallow water walking) are available at designated times in the pool. 

  • Mon-Fri: 5am-7am | 11am-1pm | 5:30-7:30pm
  • Sat: 7:30-10:30am | 1:30-3:30pm
  • FREE with any Fitness Membership
  • Punch Card: $40 (10 punches)
  • Drop-In: $8 
  • Ages: 8 Yr Olds - Adults
  • COVID-19 Lap Swim Procedures:
    • Max of Two Swimmers Per Lane: 2 swimmers max per lane to maintain social distancing
    • Pre-Registration Required: To ensure there are only two swimmers p/lane, patrons must pre-register for a lane by calling 748-3230 or in person at our front desk. Registration opens each Wednesday for the next week   
    • 30-Minute Max: To ensure all get access to lap swim, all are limited to 30-minutes in water time per visit
    • Max of 4 Visits Per Week: To ensure all get access to lap swim, all are limited to 4 registrations per week
    • Staggered Check-In Times: Check in + start times will be staggered to limit patrons in lobby and locker rooms
    • Opposite Ends: Swimmers will be required to start, rest, and end at the opposite ends of the lane

MIDDAY MOVERS

Designed to strengthen and tone muscles and provide a gentle cardiovascular workout.

SUNRISE STRETCH & STRIDE

Designed to strengthen and tone muscles and increase flexibility, balance and coordination

WATER FITNESS & DEEP WATER WALKING

Water Fitness is free time in the pool for patrons to lead themselves through any pool workout of their choice (ex: water walking, treading water, free swim, etc.)

SilvER Sneakers + silver & Fit FACILITY!

Zeeland Rec is a SilverSneakers and Silver&Fit participating fitness center! SilverSneakers and Silver&Fit cover fitness center costs for 65 yr olds+ through arrangements with certain health care plans.
