2012 - 2013 Application and Lunch Account Information
A new Free and Reduced application must be completed by each family every school year. Only one application needs to be filled out per family, it is NOT necessary to fill out a separate form for each student. In order to apply for the 2012 - 2013 school year, please go to the "Information & Forms" tab above. There you will have the option of filling out an online application, this is the fastest and simplest way to fill out the form, and it is submitted to our office instantly. Or you may print the form, fill it out and return to any of our school offices. Forms are also available for pickup at each of our school offices. Please allow 5 days to process before receiving your qualification letter.
An information letter is also available under the "Information & Forms" tab, this letter explains all of the information you will need to know about the 2012 - 2013 school lunch program.
If you have not already done so, you may sign up to receive automatic e-mail reminders when your child's lunch account dips below $5. If you are interested in receiving this service, please e-mail the necessary information to bbuurstr@zps.org and provide the following information:
- The first and last name of each of your students
- The name of the school each of your children attend
Zeeland Public Schools' Food Service Department provides an online program called sendmoneytoschool. This program allows parents to check their student’s lunch account balance, add money to the account by using debit or credit card, view a history of what food their child is purchasing each day, and transfer funds from one sibling to another, you can access this service at www.sendmoneytoschool.com. Or by clicking the Online Lunch Accounts link below. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Food Service Secretary at 616-748-3128 for assistance.
Individuals without internet access may feel free to contact the Food Service Office, 616-748-3128 with their questions.
Our talented food service staff provides Type A lunches that are imaginative and tasty. A complete a la carte menu is also available. This year's school lunch prices are $2.00 for elementary students, $2.25 for middle school students, and tiered pricing of $2.25 - $2.50 for high school students. The cost of a carton of milk is .50 cents.
More than 4000 students in grades kindergarten through twelfth use the district's food service program daily.

Senior Lunch Refund Procedure
Any balance left in account over $5.00 can either be transferred to a sibling account or refunded by check. If requesting a check refund, foods service must receive a request in writing or an email to
bbuurstr@zps.org with the following information:- Student name
- Name to make the check out to
- Address where check will be mailed
- Home phone number
Any amount under $5.00 can also be transferred to a sibling account or be picked up on seniors last day, May 22nd from 11:00am-1:00pm, in the school cafeteria. This will be the only time a cash refund can be obtained.
Please note that only balances under $5.00 can be refunded in cash and refunds over $5.00 can only be refunded by check.

If your child has an allergy and you would like to request a food substitution, please submit one of the follwing forms to food service. Form must be filled out by your doctor.
