Futures 2025: Community working together

Nearly 100 educators, parents, students and community members gave a full day of their time September 19 to discuss the future of Zeeland Public Schools.  The event was called Futures 2025 and took place at the Howard Miller futurespix1Community Center in Zeeland.  Guided by Bill DeJong, a West Michigan native and global consultant who has helped the district conduct two other future-vision sessions, the participants worked in clusters to discuss effects of the economy on education; the purpose of technology in the classroom; and the direction of future schools.   Below, you’ll find links to videos of each meeting segment and the agenda for the day.
