Curriculum

Welcome to ZPS!20120408-IMG_1845-Edit-Edit-10

Our K-12 curriculum, which places top priority on reading, writing and math skills, is interwoven with the teaching of important character traits: good citizenship, responsibility, respectfulness, generosity and trustworthiness. Our teachers collaborate regularly to review, revamp and rewrite our curriculum. Our goal is to to maintain consistent experiences between classrooms and between buildings. When collaborating on curriculum, we ask:

  • What do we want students to know or be able to do?
  • How will we measure student progress?
  • What do we do if our students are not successful?
  • What do we do if our students already know the material?

We invite you to learn about the various programs we offer at ZPS and encourage you to speak with us to learn more.
