Student Count Day is Wednesday, October 3

Count Day is the date when all public schools in Michigan count their student attendance. The fall count, which takes place annually on the first Wednesday of October, represents 90% of state funding for the district. The remaining 10% is based on the winter count which occurs annually on the second Wednesday in February.
