Z-Kids Club

Z-Kids is a child care program for children entering Young Fives through Fifth Grade. This program is funded through parent fees, not tax dollars. However, it is fully sanctioned by the Zeeland Board of Education. Z-kids has two sites, one at Lincoln Elementary and one at Quincy Elementary. These sites provide care for children from Zeeland’s five elementary schools as well as Zeeland Christian School. Z-kids offers a well rounded program in arts and crafts, games, outside time breakfast and a snack.

Each site opens at 6:30am, breakfast is served and then children are shuttled by Zeeland school bus to their appropriate school building in time for morning class. The afternoon Z-kids program opens again at 3:35pm. Upon arrival, children are provided a snack, time for homework, enjoy crafts or games and the program closes for the evening at 6:00pm.

Z-kids also offers an alternate day child care program for children who attend kindergarten as well as morning care for Young Fives and Preschool students on their half days. This service applies to children on both the “A” and the “B” schedule. Kindergartners will spend their day away from their kindergarten class with an enthusiastic professional who will provide a variety of developmentally appropriate learning activities.

Rates are subject to change, DHS assistance is available for those who qualify and a sliding scale is available for families with more than one child in our program. For additional information please contact Heather Myers at 616-748-4711 or call one of the numbers below for the latest information on rates and availability.
