Elementary 8:40 – 3:40
Middle School 7:35 – 2:30
High School 7:45 – 2:40
Elementary class lists will be posted at the buildings on August 17 at 3 pm.
Monday, August 29 for Quincy, Roosevelt and New Groningen.
Tuesday, August 30 for Adams, Lincoln and Woodbridge.
Students are picked up two hours earlier than their morning pick up time. Therefore, if they are scheduled to be picked up at 8:00 AM, they will be picked up at 6:00 PM. Buses arrive to the school buildings between 6:25 – 6:30 PM. Students will go to their classroom while parents have orientation separately, beginning at 6:30. At 7:35, parents will pick up their children at the classrooms and load the buses to return home. Buses will depart at 7:40 PM.
Early Childhood Center:
Dates and times vary for each class at the ECC. All families will receive specific information in mid-August about their child’s classroom open house date and time. Early Childhood Special Education open house will be August 31 from 4:30 – 6:00 pm. For additional information, please contact the ECC direct at 616.748.3275.
Elementary open house dates:
Adams Elementary: open house for grades 1-5 will be held Wednesday, August 31 from 5:00 – 6:30.
Lincoln Elementary: open house for grades 1-5 will be August 31. New families are invited to begin at 5:30 in the multipurpose room. Returning families are invited 6:00-7:00.
New Groningen Elementary: open house will be held Wednesday,September 7, from 4:30 – 6:00.
Quincy Elementary: open house will be held Wednesday, August 31, from 4:30 – 6:00.
Roosevelt Elementary: open house (grades 1-5) will be Wednesday, August 31 from 5:00 – 6:30.
Woodbridge Elementary: open house will be held Wednesday, August 31, from 4:30 – 6:00.

6:30-8:00 pm 6th grade orientation for 6th graders and parents.
5:30-6:45 pm Meyer Music available in band room for instrument rental.
Creekside Middle School:
Packet Pick-Up Night for 6th, 7th and 8th graders is scheduled for Wednesday, August 31, from 1:00-6:00 pm. Packets will be located in the Quack Shack. Packets will not be available to pick up prior to August 31. If you are unable to attend, students can get their packet from their first hour teacher on the first day of school. Meyer Music will be available from 3:30-5:00 pm for any 6th grader who needs to rent an instrument for orchestra or band.
Registration will be held Tuesday, August 30 from 9 am – 3 pm and Thursday, September 1 from 3 – 7 pm. Picture retakes are scheduled for September 23. Additional information will be mailed out in August. More details available on the ZHS registration link

Details will arrive in your mailbox in mid-August for students in grades K-5 and information will be available on the Infinite Campus parent portal for grades K-12.
The parent portal will be open with bus information on August 22.
The first day of practice for football is August 8, and all other sports August 10. Before students are allowed to participate or try out, they must obtain a Zeeland Athletic Card (ZAC) from the high school athletic office. This can be done at registration, or during any open office hours beginning August 1. In order to receive a card, students must meet the
• You are enrolled! You need to actually be a ZPS student before you can play sports for ZPS.
• Your physical form (dated on or after 4/15/16) has been turned in to the athletic office – if you still need a physical, print our form from our website and take it to your appointment.
• You have taken an ImPACT test during the summer or the previous year. All new students, incoming freshmen & juniors need to test this summer. Sign up for one on our website ASAP if you need one.
• You have read and signed the Concussion Information Form. You only need to sign this form one time for all four years of high school. (Available to print from our website.)
• You passed more that 66% of your classes last year (10th-12th graders). Freshman get a clean start for high school.
• You have no athletic suspensions that still need to be served.
• You meet the MHSAA age requirements.
Students must pick up their ZAC and bring it to their coach before they may participate. Parents do not need to sign anything for this card.
